Alicia Whaley
Middle School Program Manager
Alicia Whaley is a Program Manager for RiseUp Partnership. Since 2021, she has facilitated the mentoring sessions and the Social Emotional Learning curriculum.
In her role, Alicia pairs peer mentors with their youth mentees at Twin Bluff Middle School. She help high school peer mentors plan and facilitates sessions designed to foster relationships and connection within those pairings. She also oversees a space within the high school where students can gather to decompress, find academic support, or socialize, all with the support of adults from RiseUp Partnership. She is passionate about supporting adolescents through the tumultuous transition into adulthood, and she loves the opportunity to guide and support them as they reach their potential.
Alicia is currently pursuing a Masters of Social Work at Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota, and she holds a B.A. in Social Work from the University of Wisconsin - River Falls. She lives in Red Wing with her two sons. They spend time together playing sports and spending time outdoors.
