Education Coalition Receives Dedicated State Funding

The Education Partnerships Coalition (EPC), of which RiseUp Red Wing is a member, successfully lobbied to pass bipartisan funding legislation as part of the Minnesota Legislature’s base budget. This move means RiseUp Red Wing will receive dedicated funding annually from the State of Minnesota to improve local education.

EPC is a statewide network of nine community partnerships that serve more than 120,000 Minnesota youth and their families.

State Senator Aric Putnam (D-St. Cloud) said, “The work I’ve seen accomplished by local education partnerships is impressive and well worth the ongoing investment in the people and structures that work to strengthen the infrastructure for our communities. The EPC’s learnings and this collaborative effort and partnership will create better outcomes for all Minnesotans.”
