End-of-Year Pizza Party, Hosted by the Environmental Learning Center

On May 31st, the Environmental Learning Center hosted RiseUp Red Wing’s annual End-of-Year pizza party. We love partnering with this fantastic organization, as we bring together our mentors, mentees, and their families, and the wood-fired pizzas are a family favorite. This was our biggest turn-out yet, with 20 families and 15 mentors attending. The annual pizza party is an incredible opportunity for mentors to meet and socialize with their mentees’ families and for RiseUp staff and mentors to connect with parents or guardians in person as we share a meal and reflect on the school year. It's always rewarding to share with families the growth we see from students and watch the mentor and mentee relationships blossom. It's also a great way to keep families up to date on summer programming, and share ideas with parents on the upcoming school year.
