Mentor Spotlight: Regeena

RiseUp Red Wing’s adult mentors provide a consistent and caring adult presence for local youth that helps them unleash their potential. Regeena, a mentor in the program, has two mentees and says her favorite part of the mentoring experience is getting to know her mentees and watching them grow and learn. Regeena remembers her high school years as some of the toughest of her life, and she genuinely wants to see young people succeed and step into their authentic selves. She loves to see the happiness and excitement in her mentees as they pursue their passions and begin to chart their futures. Above all, she loves to laugh with her mentees – they’re a great reminder that not all of life needs to be so serious.
